Almost two decades ago, the world was introduced to Duffy the Bear at Tokyo Disney Resort. In the years that followed, the world was introduced to ShellieMay, Gelatoni, StellaLou, CookieAnn, ‘Olu Mel, and most recently, LinaBell. To celebrate 20 years of Duffy and friend, Tokyo Disney Resort is hosting a party at Tokyo DisneySea!
From April 8, 2025, through March 19, 2026, there will be themed merchandise, special menus, themed decor, entertainment, and more found throughout the park. The theme for the celebration is celebrating all things happy. This ranges from rainbows to bubbles. It comes from Duffy and Friends ability to find the joy in the small things.
The celebration will begin when guests enter Tokyo DisneySea. There, banners featuring seven members of Duffy and Friends will be found, along with the number “20” on them. There will also be picture locations displayed on walls around Via Paperino in Mediterranean Harbor. The buildings in Cape Code will also be decked out with themed decorations that range from rainbows to bubbles.
There will also be some new merchandise items available. This includes plush charms featuring all seven members holding a bubble-shaped case which can hold 20 special patches that were designed specifically for the 20th anniversary.
There is also a new flavor being added to the crème brûlée churro lineup. At Tropic Al’s in Lost River Delta, there will be an all-new milk tea-flavored crème brûlée churro. Each churro will come in a package adorned with one of seven unique designs featuring a member of Duffy and Friends.
There is also a new 20th-anniversary bucket. It comes with popcorn and includes favorites ranging from Duffy to Gelatoni, Linabelle, and others!
Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina in Lost River Delta will be the home to the 20th anniversary dining experience. This celebrates the world of Duffy. Guests can try a special Duffy set served with seasonal soups.
Duffy and Friends will also be embarking on a journey along the Tokyo DisneySea waterways. All seven friends will be a part of this special celebration in their all-new 20th-anniversary outfits during Duffy and Friends’ Colorful Happiness Journey.
