For anyone who thought it would be difficult to dig much deeper than yesterday’s card, “Festival Japan,” here is card #28, Thumper’s Easter Egg Hunt. Yes, for the entirety of 1981, the most significant event at Disneyland was… an Easter Egg Hunt. The copywriter for this one gets points for creativity, describing it as “an element of adventure.” Something that could have been featured in 1982 was the introduction of the Disneyland Passport and the end of the celebrated A-E tickets.
