Card #23 in the series is a big one. The opening of Space Mountain in 1977 added a second rollercoaster to Disneyland and anchored a major refreshing of the aging Tomorrowland. Joining Space Mountain that year were: The Space Place Restaurant, the Tomorrowland Space Stage, the PeopleMover SuperSpeed Tunnel, and the Starcade, a high tech, two level arcade that would feature all the latest state-of-the-art video games during its nearly forty years in operation.
