Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

New Décor Being Added to Guest Rooms at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

There are a lot of changes coming to the hotels at Disneyland Resort. Today, two new lounges were announced for the hotels. The Napa Rose restaurant is also being updated as well and receiving a new menu. Today Disneyland Resort announced that it will be refreshing all of its guest rooms. This includes the Disney Vacation Club Villas.

The rooms at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will see new décor being added that complements the existing Arts & Crafts motif that currently are found in the rooms. New bold colors will be added throughout the rooms in the carpets, upholstery, and bedding. Accents will be inspired by California wildflower blooms. These are often found in Impressionistic plein-air paintings and helped define the art movement of the Arts and Crafts period. This continues to be an inspiration to artists today.

Another highlight of the room refreshes that will be happening will be that each room will have new artwork that was commissioned from local plein-air painters.

Once completed, these rooms will create an even more comfortable place for guests to enjoy at the end of a day in the parks, the transformed Downtown Disney District, or just out by the pool.
