Disney Destiny Maiden Voyage and Itineraries Revealed by Disney Cruise Line

The Disney Destiny is set to join the fleet of the Disney Cruise Line in 2025. Up until today, an exact date wasn’t known. However, the Disney Cruise Line revealed today that this beautiful new ship will be setting sail on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025. Equally exciting, those who want to book a cruise on this ship will be able to do so very soon.

The maiden voyage of the Disney Destiny will be from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This will be a magical four-night cruise that will showcase this new ship. It will also have the Disney Destiny making stops at both of the Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas – Disney Castaway Cay and also Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

Following the maiden voyage, the inaugural season will include four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Each sailing will include a day for guests to have some fun in the sun at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay. There will be some itineraries that include a visit to both. Other select cruises will include stops for adventure Nassau, Bahamas or Cozumel, Mexico. Specifics will be able to be found on disneycruise.com. This will include dates and itinerary details before bookings open to the public.

Speaking of bookings, they will be open to the general public starting on September 12, 2024. Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members can book a Disney Destiny voyage as soon as September 6, 2024. This ship will have many new offerings for guests to enjoy. This includes a pub themed to Pirates of the Caribbean, a dining experience with the story of The Lion King, a Broadway-style production of Hercules, and so much more!
