On this day in 1999, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith opened at Disney-MGM Studios with an exclusive party. The members of Aerosmith were on hand at the celebration. The lucky attendees won a chance to experience the attraction with a member of the band. The party also included transportation in stretch limousines, an unlimited buffet and bar, and art demonstrations. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster was unveiled during the park’s tenth year.
