The Season of the Force has arrived at Disneyland: this celebration of all that is Star Wars will be continuing through June 2, 2024. During this season, there are plenty of things for Star Wars fans to enjoy including attractions (and updates), Star Wars characters, fireworks, droids, food, beverages, popcorn buckets, and of course merchandise. With all that is available during this galactic season of Star Wars celebration, it is easy to get overwhelmed and not know what to prioritize when trying to fit these offerings into a day at Disneyland and all its other offerings. With that in mind, below are the top 5 Season of the Force offerings that you don’t want to miss!
Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
There are some new fun updates to be experienced when going on an adventure aboard a Starspeeder 1000 on Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. While blasting through the galaxy, you might experience moments with Ahsoka Tano, Mando and Grogu, or even Cassian Andor now. This is on top of characters that previously appeared in the attraction. There is also a new destination with a new battle amidst flying Purrgils (space whales). This is a classic Star Wars attraction that continues to provide more surprises for guests. During Season of the Force, everyone will also get the opportunity to experience new offerings for a limited time before the attraction returns to giving random experiences (there are over 250 of them!).
Space Food
There are some fun culinary offerings to be enjoyed during Season of the Force. The place we suggesting eating, particularly for this celebration, is Docking Bay 7. There are some special offerings currently available that the Daps Magic team enjoyed. This includes the Dewback Chili Noodles ($17.99 – discounts apply) and the Fried Chicken Baos ($14.99 – discounts apply). The noodles are a fairly generous offering and the way to play it is to get one of each and share them between two people. This gives the chance to try more things and also is a decent meal! It also is very fun to either sit in or outside of Docking Bay 7. It really is one of the best places to eat as a Star Wars fan.
Star Wars Characters
There are so many Star Wars characters that can be found at Disneyland. In my Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge fans of the light or dark side of the Force will get to find some favorite friend or foes. For Season of the Force, Sabine Wren has arrived on Batuu for the first time! The following characters are currently found at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge:
- Ahsoka Tano
- Boba Fett
- The Mandalorian and Grogu
- Chewbacca
- Rey Skywalker
- Vi Moradi
- Sabine Wren
- Kylo Ren
- First Order Stormtroopers
Meet Some Droids!
One of the most adorable offerings of Season of the Force is the arrival of two BDX droids, BD-Grek and BD-Besh. They come out with their trainer to learn about the people of Batuu. They appear throughout the day in multiple different locations in the land. It is worth waiting for these little guys and watch as they interact with their trainer and those around them. They are definitely one of the best Season of the Force offerings and you really don’t want to miss them!
Along with the BDX droids now visiting Black Spire Outpost, R2-D2 continues to make appearances as well. He is not unique to Season of the Force but it is always a thrill to see this little hero from a galaxy far, far away!
Fire of the Rising Moons
Fire of the Rising Moons is the new fireworks experience that is being offered in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Guests can watch the fireworks while hearing the iconic music of John Williams. This is a fantastic way to watch the fireworks and it can be seen near the Millennium Falcon, the First Order Tie Echelon, and in the area near the speeder garage. While this offering will continue after the Season of the Force, it is the perfect way to end a day celebrating Star Wars at Disneyland!
There are so many different fun experiences to be had by Star Wars fans at Disneyland during Season of the Force. Along with the experiences mentioned above, there is also Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, other foods, merchandise, and more! Season of the Force will continue to be celebrated at Disneyland through June 2, 2024.
