Fans of Tortilla Jo’s will get a little bit longer to enjoy the longtime Downtown Disney District restaurant. The Patina Confirmed that the restaurant will be permanently closing its doors on April 7, 2024. Originally, Tortilla Jo’s had been scheduled to close on March 31st. For those that want to visit Tortilla Jo’s before it closes, reservations can be made up through April 7th, subject to availability. This can be done through the Disneyland app. Walk-ins will also be welcomed through the new final day as well.
Tortilla Jo’s and The Taqueria next door will now be closing in April, with the latter closing on April 13th. This will not be the end of the opportunity to enjoy Mexican cuisine in Downtown Disney District, however. As it continues its transformation, later this year Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita will be opening in the area where Catal and the Uva Bar once resided. These come from Chef Carlos Gaytán. An exact opening date has not been announced at this time. Paseo, Céntrico and Tiendita promises to continue the legacy that began in Downtown Disney District with Tortilla Jo’s. This restaurant, known for its tableside guacamole and fresh margarita will be closing this spring after two decades at the Disneyland Resort.
