Star Wars Celebration is still over a year away but details are already being released about how ticket sales will go. Star Wars Celebration will be taking place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, between April 18–20, 2025. This is the first time that Star Wars Celebration has been in Japan since 2008. Star Wars fans from around the globe will come to celebrate all that is a galaxy far, far away.

This week, details about how ticket sales will happen were released. Tickets will be going on sale on Thursday, May 2, at 7:00 PM EST (U.S. Time) and Friday, May 3, at 8:00 AM JST (Japan Time). There will also be travel packages available for non-local fans who plan to attend. Star Wars Celebration will be sharing about new movies, television series, books, art, and comics. It will also commemorate the vast history of the Star Wars galaxy. This takes place over the course of three days that will be full of announcements, immersive exhibits, an interactive floor show, screenings, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels, autograph, sessions, fan-inspired activities, costumes, and other Star Wars surprises.

Lucasfilm Ltd. and ReedPop also shared key art for Star Wars Celebration Japan. The artwork was inspired by the traditional Japanese ink painting style known as sumi-e. StarWars.com shared that the “2025 key art features the looming presence of Darth Vader accompanied by beautiful cherry blossoms and sweeping ink strokes. X-Wings, TIE Fighters, and Imperial AT-ATs are featured prominently in the foreground, while the Rising Sun—Mount Fuji contained within—completes the spectacular piece.” Check out the new key art here:
