The first round of tickets for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event went on sale on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. By 3:00 PM, it appeared that ticket sales had concluded for the day when the pre-sale was paused. A notice on the the queue page for tickets said the following:
The ticket allotment for today’s D23 Gold Member pre-sale has almost sold out and the queue has been paused. Guests who are currently checking out will be able to complete their transaction. If you were not able to purchase tickets today, quantities of most ticket types will be available during the next pre-sale, which will begin Wednesday, March 27, at 12 p.m. PT for D23 Members who are Visa cardholders—and who pay with their Visa.
At 3:11 PM, the sale was officially closed for the day with the following post:
D23 GOLD MEMBER PRE-SALE CLOSED: The D23 Gold Member pre-sale has ended and the queue is now closed. Guests who are currently checking out will be able to complete their transaction. If you were not able to purchase tickets today, quantities of most ticket types will be available during the next pre-sale, which will begin Wednesday, March 27, at 12 p.m. PT for D23 Members who are Visa cardholders—and who pay with their Visa.
This was the most recent of several updates that were posted on the page. Shortly after 12:00 PM, the queue was paused to address an issue on the website for some guests with the post: “We are currently aware of a technical issue that guests may be experiencing with the ticketing site and hope to resume the pre-sale shortly.” The queue occasionally paused in the coming hours for unknown reasons throughout the early afternoon.
Many people could be seen cheering online as they were successful in purchasing their tickets to the event. Others were not as lucky. This isn’t the only chance for fans to purchase tickets, however. Over the course of the next two days, tickets will again go on sale for those who want to attempt to purchase them. The next two windows for ticket sales are:
- Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM PDT – ticket sales will open for any D23 member who also has and is using a Visa card to purchase tickets.
- Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM PDT – ticket sales will open for any D23 member. General membership for D23 is complimentary and can be accessed at D23.com.
