Super Bowl LVIII MVP Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated the team’s big win yesterday by going to Disneyland. After exclaiming after the game, “we’re going to Disneyland,” he visited The Happiest Place on Earth with his wife and kids.
While there, he also celebrated with a cavalcade bonding the achievement with Mickey, Minnie, and other Disney friends. Some fans began waiting for the cavalcade on Main Street, USA as soon as the park opened. Others showed up closer to the 2:00 PM cavalcade. The energy in the park was palpable as guests waited to celebrate the big game with Mahomes. For some in attendance, there was a sense of Deja Vous as it was the second year that Mahomes was able to celebrate a Super Bowl win with his family at Disneyland.
Daps Magic team member Tracy was on hand to film this momentous event. The crowds went wild as the cavalcade made its way down Main Street, USA. This was particularly true on Main Street, USA where the cavalcade amped things up even more with confetti for a magical moment.
Quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, Mahomes led the team to an overtime win by just three points. With the win, Mahomes received his third Super Bowl ring and also continued the legacy of going to a Disney park after winning the Super Bowl that dates back to 1987. While at the park, Mahomes and his family were also able to enjoy other magical offerings at the Disneyland Resort, along with conducting a few interviews.
Next year’s Super Bowl is scheduled to be in New Orleans, Louisiana. If Mahomes and the Chiefs get their way, there will be another trip to Disney in store in 2025!
