Disney has announced that 1900 Park Fare will be reopening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on April 10, 2024! Reservations will be opening on March 5. When guests get to experience this reopened restaurant, there will be many familiar favorites returning. This will include the strawberry. There will also be some new menu offerings that have been created by Disney chefs. Big Bertha, the antique organ that has been found at the resort since 1988 will also be found in the main dining room where she will serve as its grand centerpiece.
The refreshed dining location will have some Disney friends stopping by during breakfast and dinner. Aladdin will be showing up in his royal Prince Ali look. Cinderella, Mirabel, and also Tiana will be showing up as well. Tiana will be sporting her new look that was created for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. They will all be celebrating the power of a wish.
As was the case before the refresh, carousel theming will be found throughout 1900 Park Fare. This will now include an impressive new mural that will be the focal point for the restaurant’s entrance. Throughout the restaurant there will be other nods to the carousel theme of this restaurant with drawings of carousel animals inspired by classic Disney films like Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid. There will also be other subtle nods throughout the restaurant as well.
There will be other artwork to be found and enjoyed throughout the restaurant as well. The exclusive new artwork will be inspired by the impressionist art style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and Disney characters as they hope, dream, and wish upon a star (or maybe a lamp or wishing well)!
Though there are some changes at 1900 Park Fare, the spirit of whimsy and magic of the turn-of-the-century gardens and fairgrounds, where people of all ages came together to enjoy each other’s company, still remains! This will be a wonderful place for families and guests of all ages to make new memories when they visit Walt Disney World Resort.
