The Disneyland Resort announced today the return of World of Color – ONE to Paradise Bay at Disney California Adventure. This nighttime spectacular debuted during the 100th anniversary celebration of The Walt Disney Company. This show reminds viewers about the power of a single action to make change. Just like a drop of water, it can grow into a wave of change. This version of World of Color will be returning on January 19, 2024.
World of Color – ONE
During the return of World of Color – ONE, Paradise Bay will be transformed into a magical beacon of nighttime magic with fountains, lighting, lasers, fog, and also flame effects. These are accompanied by songs and stories that showcase courageous, loving, and inspiring characters who dared to be wavemakers of change the world around them. Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration
Along with the return of World of Color – ONE, Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration will also be returning to Paradise Bay during the Lunar New Year Celebration. It will be shown ahead of World of Color – ONE from January 23 through February 18, 2024. This presentation has music by Academy Award-winning composer Tan Dun. This adorable show tells the story of little a lantern’s quest to reunite with family for the annual celebration of good luck and fortune. Below is a look at this pre-show from 2023.
