Bing Bong, from Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out, is now meeting guests at Pixar Place Hotel. He made his first appearance today at the hotel during its grand opening ceremony. Shortly after, he was up on the third floor of the hotel meeting with media and special guests before meeting with guests staying at the hotel.
A representative from Disney Live Entertainment shared that Bing Bong will be meeting with guests daily at Pixar Place Hotel. This marks the first time that the character has met with guests in any Disney property and his first appearance globally! An observation of Bing Bong on the first day seems to indicate that this new meet and greet opportunity will be very popular. Media, special guests, cast members, and others all seemed very happy to see him and meet with him.
Bing Bong is from Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out. In that film, he was the imaginary friend of Riley Andersen and existed within her mind. Inside Out was released in 2015. A sequel to the film will be released later this year. Along with Bing Bong, another Pixar character can also be found at Pixar Place Hotel. Joe Gardner, the piano playing teacher from Disney and Pixar’s Soul is also performing on the piano in the lobby on select days as well.
