The Merry Menagerie at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is not a new holiday offering. However, it is a magical memory maker for guests visiting this park that should not be missed. Some of the Daps Magic team had the opportunity to check out this interactive entertainment offering at Walt Disney World this week and it was unanimous, we all loved it.
With some beautiful and animated puppets, puppeteers bring to life these Nordic animals. This includes penguins, deer, bears, birds, and even a fox. There are also live musicians accompanying them in the area in front of the Tree of Life.
The entire experience is full of magic and charm and is fun for the whole family. The puppets are absolutely adorable. They are even more adorable thanks to the charm and the skill of the performers. Overall, the Merry Menagerie is one of Disney’s best holiday offerings. This is a statement I wouldn’t have expected to be saying 24 hours ago. However, within moments of meeting Nutmeg the penguin I was smitten with this entertainment offering. I would love to see more interactive entertainment offerings with plenty of room for spontaneity. This one truly is magical!
