It’s the merriest time of the year at the Disneyland Resort. Since the beginning of November, the Disneyland Resort has been decked out in its holiday best. This came after a couple of months of celebration Halloween. The transformation takes quite a lot of work by some very special Disney cast members who make this happen each year. One of the people who helps make it happen is Dawn Pipal-Keehne, a Resort Enhancement Area Manager for Disney.
“I think most people think we do it in a night, and if we’re doing our job correctly it should seem that way, but it takes us over four weeks to install the Christmas decor throughout the resort,” said Dawn. “We have over 50 cast members that bring the holiday decor into the resort over those four weeks.”
The transformation includes bringing in the massive Christmas tree to Main Street, USA, the arrival of snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle, the creation of a massive gingerbread house at the Grand California Resort & Spa, and a whole lot more!
