Daps Magic is not the sole effort of Mr. Daps. Yes, I know I’m talking about myself in the third person. However, that isn’t the point. My point is that Daps Magic happens because there are a lot of people who contribute in one way or another to create content, build community, and help the world celebrate Disney and positive stuff just like we do!
Today I want to say how thankful I am to all of those that contribute to Daps Magic in one way or another. I have been very aware the last year at how amazing people are who help out with Daps Magic. We have an incredible team that help write articles, take pictures, film videos, research topics, share social media, help produce webshows, cover special events, capture special moments one way or another, code the website and keep it working, and cultivate community. These are just a few things the team does, I could go on and on. I am thankful for each and everyone one of our team members for each and every way they contribute.
There are also people who contribute who aren’t officially a part of the team. These are the people that send me leads/photos/videos when they see things in the parks (or elsewhere). They show up on GEEKS CORNER to be guests or hop on a podcast to share their heart and experience. These are the people who also help invest in our community as we strive to make it a positive and kind space for people to share their love of Disney and positive stuff! These people are just as important as those who are officially part of a team and I’m equally thankful for them!
As I’m sitting here writing about how I’m thankful for the contributors of Daps Magic, I realize the thing I’m most thankful for is each and every one of them individually. They are all amazing people and I’m thankful to know them and consider them friends/family, whatever they do or don’t do. Daps Magic isn’t just a website or a platform, it’s a group of incredible people who make the world a little bit better and a little bit kinder by coming together and sharing their love of different fandoms.
I know I’ve already said I was thankful for the community that we have but I also think it is important to thank the individuals that create the space for this community to thrive. I am thankful for each and every one of you who contribute in your own ways. Thank you for helping us create this special community that we call Daps Magic.
