The Walt Disney Company and TikTok announced a partnership today as The Walt Disney Company celebrates its 100th anniversary. This partnership includes a first-of-its-kind content hub that will debut on the social media platform on October 16th.
This new hub will allow Disney fans to find content from Disney, Disney Parks, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and ESPN, including nostalgic theme songs, iconic moments, unique behind-the-scenes Disney campus tours, character favorites, and a whole lot more from Disney. Along with watching content from Disney, fans will also be able to create content with Disney music and effects. They can also play daily Disney and collect/trade “Character Cards” of favorite characters to win unique profile frames.

There are over 48 handles from The Walt Disney Company participating in this four-week activation. It will be live in 24 regions globally and highlight the wide range of content from The Walt Disney Company. This will be an experience that fans of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, ESPN, National Geographic, Disney Parks, and more that will give daily reminders of why fans connected in the first place with their favorite characters, franchises, movies and Disney in general.

TikTok is a destination for Disney fans to come together for multiple different things. Disney brands have over 150 million followers on TikTok. As part of the celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary, TikTok is also curating a Disney100 Playlist with popular hits from Disney’s massive music catalogue. This will include tunes from movies like Cinderella, The Lion King and even the upcoming Wish. There will also be music from franchises like Toy Story and High School Musical.
Along with announcing this new Disney100 partnership, TikTok revealed that Disney will also become a TikTok Pulse Premiere publisher. This puts brands next to the top 4% of trending videos on TikTok across a number of categories. This helps brands stay on the pulse of the most culturally impactful moments on the platform.
