This year is the 30th anniversary of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Even more special, 30 years ago today this classic Halloween (or Christmas?) movie was released in theaters.
As part of the celebration of 30 years of The Nightmare Before Christmas, the Disney Parks Blog shared 13 of its favorite merchandise offerings that are inspired by this film. The Jack Skellington costume for kids really lets young ones get into character for the celebration. It’s great for trick or treating or for getting into the spirit to watch Jack Skellington star in this classic film during a viewing party.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Loungefly Mini Backpack is another way to show off love for the movie. Watch carefully as Jack Skellington’s facial expressions change on this backpack. It also can be found at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort.

They include The Jack Skellington and Toys Mini Jumbo Pin and Jack Skellington, Sally and Mayor Pin feature the Pumpkin King and other favorite characters from the film, along with the phrase “30 Years of Nightmares.” The Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas 30th Anniversary Pin Set includes three pins—Jack Skellington on his snowmobile, the Mayor of Halloween Town in his hearse, and Lock, Shock, and Barrel in their walking bathtub—all showcased in a commemorative coffin-shaped box. All of these pins are currently found (along with others) on shopDisney and also in the Disney Parks.
Over at the Disney Music Emporium, there is the zoetrope two-vinyl set of The Nightmare Before Christmas. This set includes all of fans’ favorite tunes from this movie.
Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Visual Companion: Commemorating 30 Years is a fantastic coffee table book that is a must have for any fan of the movie’s library.
This Jack Skellington sculpted figure was created specifically for the 30th anniversary. It shows Jack Skellington riding through town on his snowmobile “sleigh” carrying a sack filled with toys for ghouls and boys.
There is also a 30th anniversary limited edition doll set releasing for Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. It will be arriving on shopDisney on October 30th at 8:00 AM PT. The keepsake assortment includes two detailed dolls with interchangeable faces, two Jack Skellington outfits, a Zero figure, a scenic display stand, and a certificate of authenticity, all within an elegant window display box.
Disney Munchlings fans have not been forgotten for this anniversary either. A new Jack Skellington Cinnamon Cupcake Disney Munchlings Plush has been released along with a Zero as a cupcake topping.
Build-A-Bear has also released Jack Skellington and Sally Gift Sets. Each set comes with a plush and an outfit as well as a sound chip so you and your new plush friend can sing along to one of the memorable songs from the film. Sing along to “This is Halloween,” with Jack Skellington and “Sally’s Song” with Sally simply by pressing your plush’s paw.
For those who REALLY want to show off their love of Jack Skellington. It’s time to get the 13-ft. Animated Jack Skellington. These have been going fast but are amazing and probably also the ultimate way to show off one’s love of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Fortnite fans, are also in for a treat with Fortnitemares. The Pumpkin King Set, which features Jack Skellington’s outfit, Zero back bling, Jack’s Sled glider and more haunting items are all materializing in the Fortnite Item Shop later this month!
