HONG KONG, July 12, 2023 – Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) and UnionPay International Hong Kong (UnionPay) have entered a multi-year strategic alliance which recognizes UnionPay as an official card sponsor of HKDL.
With this alliance, HKDL has enabled acceptance of UnionPay’s payments within the resort’s park and hotels. Guests will be able to use UnionPay cards, UnionPay QR codes, and/or UnionPay Mobile QuickPass as a form of payment at the resort’s official offline point-of-sale locations and official online sales channels.
This new relationship provides a seamless experience to UnionPay cardholders at HKDL, and added convenience for visitors to the resort from Hong Kong, the mainland and internationally. UnionPay cardholders will also have the opportunity to enjoy curated offers including pre-arrival packages, in-park promotions for an immersive experience at the resort, discounts in shops and outdoor food carts along Main Street, U.S.A., as well as attractive offers for online shopping.
