A new show is opening at Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. This show, Together – A Pixar Musical Adventure, brings together the worlds of Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, and others on the Studio Theatre. This is not to be confused with the firework spectacular of basically the same name that was a part of the Disneyland Resort’s Pixar Fest in 2019. The Story Begins Here
The heartwarming story begins with Charlie, a child who is passionate about music, who dreams of conducting the orchestra for a school end-of-year gala. But something unexpected happens and Charlie’s precious music sheets are lost on the eve of the concert! As Charlie falls asleep, Woody and his Toy Story friends wake up and join forces to recover the scores scattered throughout various Pixar stories.
A Technological Feat
In “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure,” the line between fantasy and reality is blurred with a multi-layered sensory experience of water effects, creative lighting, contemporary choreography, iconic live music, and more! But that’s not all, there are full-sized mobile decorations standing over 20 feet tall and nearly 100 feet wide, 4,800 square feet of LED screens stretching from floor to ceiling, and 200 spotlights to seamlessly blend stage moments from scene to scene — creating the most immersive stage ever at Disneyland Paris.
An Iconic Score for an Iconic Show
No show is complete without music to match and “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure” is no different! Each performance features eight musicians paying homage to the timeless beauty of Pixar’s most memorable soundtracks alongside an original score recorded with 54 musicians at the Nashville Studios. This music-driven script includes a symphonic combination of piano, violin, trumpet, cello, guitar, drums and saxophone performing well-loved tracks.
Extend the Fun with Pixar-Themed Merch and Food
Not only is adventure out there, but there’s a whole host of new, colorful Pixar-themed merch to discover too! From character-covered fashion to must-have mugs, there’s something for every Pixar-loving pal.
And for the foodies, you’ll be saying “Mine! Mine! Mine!” upon trying this selection of Pixar-themed treats. Head over to Walt Disney Studios Park for an original Magnum® creation at the Ice Cream Creations food truck where you can choose between the Cars’ Race Track Treat with vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate coating, raspberry and mango slivers, and three chocolate balls, or try Toy Story’s Cowboy Crunch with vanilla ice cream, milk chocolate coating, chopped almonds and praline slivers. Over by the Buzz Lightyear Statue, a second food truck will offer a Slinky Corn Dog made with beef sausage and corn fritter dough, as well as an Infinity and Beyond Eclair with hazelnut cream, inspired by our favorite Space Ranger.
