Work is continuing on the Downtown Disney District expansion. Once the location for AMC Theatres and The Earl of Sandwich, in recent months the area has been an open swatch of dirt surrounded by walls. However, this appears to be changing. As can be seen in the video and photos below, work is happening on the area.

This comes as the West end of the Downtown Disney District continues its transformation. The recently renovated and reimagined Jazz Kitchen now sports a new look with an orange and ink color scheme. This comes after months of work being done on the building changing it from its classic look to a more modern one.
Previously, Disney Home and WonderGround Gallery reopened in their former locations. It appears that the buildings were reconfigured to accommodate additional seating for Paseo and Centrico, the restaurant that is replacing Catal. Paseo and Centrico will serve elevated Mexican cuisine inspired by dishes Chef Carlos Gaytán enjoyed growing up in Mexico. Below is a look at how the Downtown Disney District looks as of May 1, 2023. There are also video tours of the WonderGround Gallery and Disney Home store.
