Rogers: The Musical is coming to the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure this summer. This comes after the musical was shown in Hawkeye on Disney+. It was also performed last year at the D23 Expo that fans absolutely loved. Today, it was announced by Marvel that this musical is indeed coming to the Disneyland Resort. It will have a limited-run and be a one-act play. The Disney Parks also teased the play on social media with Agent Peggy Carter looking at a program outside of the Hyperion Theater.
This originally fictitious musical will now become something that guests can actually see. It is about the life of Steve Rogers, the first Captain America. When the musical debuted in Hawkeye, all of the Avengers were invited to New York for the premiere. However, Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, is the only one who shows up for the show stopping musical. During the musical, the audience and viewers were treated to a musical number that was based on The Battle of New York, with a few creative liberties taken here and there for the sake of theater.
Rogers: The Musical has music written by Marc Shaiman. Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman co-wrote the lyrics. The original presentation of it was filmed at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City. More details will be released at a later date about the arrival of Rogers: The Musical. This will include a release date for the musical. Are you excited about its arrival at the Disneyland Resort?
