Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is now open and guests are hopping into a cartoon with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other animated friends. The opening of this attraction comes before the official reopening of Mickey’s Toontown. However, part of Mickey’s Toontown is open now. The part that is open looks beautiful. The colors are vibrant, the details are fun to look at, and it is fun to explore.
On the opening day of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Daps Magic shot a video walking around what is open of Mickey’s Toontown to show off how it has developed in the last year. This video also includes a look at a new yard in front of Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin where kids were seen playing when the team visited. It also includes new area music for the land that is really a lot of fun. This video captures a moment in time in the development of the Disneyland Resort. There is the excitement of the new attraction and updated areas of Mickey’s Toontown coupled with the anticipation of what is yet to come on the other half of the land.
The opening of this part of Mickey’s Toontown and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is part of the the Disney100 celebration at the Disneyland Resort. This is a celebration of the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company and began at Disneyland Resort on January 27, 2023.
