Rehearsals are underway for Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While the nighttime spectacular has already returned to the Disneyland Resort since the parks reopened, the show has not yet returned to Walt Disney World Resort. With its return, there will be some changes coming as well. The show originally opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 1998. The announcement of the show’s rehearsals came from Disney Parks’ social media.
The return of Fantasmic! will see some changes and updates coming to the show. A Pocohantas segment of the show will be replaced with a new segment that includes a lot of Disney heroes and their journeys. There will be some new stories like Moana and Elsa from Frozen 2. This segment will include Aladdin, Mulan, and Pocahontas as well. There will also be new lighting, special effects, and some other new surprises for the show. This will reinvigorate the show with new life.

Earlier this year in May, Fantasmic! returned to the Disneyland Resort. It returned on May 28, 2022, after being closed since March 2020.
