There are lots of things for geeks to enjoy and geek out about at San Diego Comic-Con. However, nothing beat an animatronic Grogu, or Baby Yoda, that was at the convention. The EFX Collectibles Grogu animatronic was created by Garner Holt Productions and is for sale.
The animatronic uses 15 servos to recreate the expressions of the beloved character on The Mandalorian. It also has a voice box to recreate the sounds of this adorable character. Because he is so realistic, this animatronic Grogu is not cheap. The starting price is $85,000. Each Grogu is custom-made to order and could go up to as much as $100,000. The higher price means more servos and more movement and/or expressions.
