Walt Disney World Resort has updated its guidelines for when guests should wear face coverings when visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth. An update was found on the website for Walt Disney World Resort. The following update can be found on Walt Disney World’s “Returning to a World of Magic” page:
Face coverings are optional for Guests in both outdoor and indoor locations, as well as Disney transportation. It is recommended Guests who are not fully vaccinated continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters and on enclosed transportation.
Please note, face coverings are not permitted while experiencing water slides or in the water.
At this time, the policy has not changed for the Disneyland Resort where face coverings are still required aboard Disney transportation.
