This morning, Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort, took to Instagram to share some exciting news! He told us that on Wednesday, February 23, trams would be returning to Disneyland!
This news has been long-awaited! The last time many Disneyland guests rode a tram was March 13, 2020, before the parks closed for 13 months. Since the parks reopened in April 2021, guests have been able to walk the tram route after parking in the Mickey and Friends or Pixar Pals parking structure. In recent weeks, guests have seen work happening on the tram route, which signaled the return of transportation!
When Ken Potrock shared the exciting news, he was sure to thank all of the cast members who have made this return possible. None of this would be possible without the cast who has worked tirelessly to get the trams running, patch the route, and make magic for all of us!
