As part of its Disney+ Day celebrations, a behind the scenes look at Obi-Wan Kenobi was released. Lasting about a minute, it has Ewan McGregor and director Deborah Chow talking about the series at a fairly high level. This does include some teases about what could be showing when Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
The video seems to indicate that Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader will again be facing off with Hayden Christensen returning to the role. This will be a fairly important part of the story. It also shares how about the dangers of being a Jedi during this dark time of the Empire. There also appears to be a secondary mission, or journey, beyond protecting Luke Skywalker that Obi-Wan will find himself on.
