Waititi, who plays the hilarious, over-the-top villain in “Free Guy” and is an Academy Award®-winning screenwriter (“Jojo Rabbit”) and the director of next summer’s “Thor: Love and Thunder,” took to the stage to introduce the film, where he was greeted with rapturous applause.
