So What Did You Think?

I can honestly say I have not been more excited about a Ghostbusters movie coming into theaters in my lifetime. This comes with a caveat. I was too young to see the original films in theaters when they first came out. However, I did grow up watching and loving the original film and also enjoyed the second. What I’m seeing in this trailer is giving me a lot of hope. It seems to be very much rooted in the story and lore of the first film but it isn’t just staying there. Instead, things are moving forward. Things are being updated. Some familiar characters (and ghosts!) return. New characters are introduced. This seems like a very balanced movie that will move things forward wonderfully and I’m excited about it! I was also very much impressed with how the special effects are clearly updated but are still recognizable with things seen in previous films. I can’t wait to see this new adventure when it arrives in theaters in November!
