Tomorrow, the Disneyland Resort is officially changing their policy to no longer require fully vaccinated cast members to wear masks outdoors. ABC7, whose parent company is The Walt Disney Company, broke the story this morning. In the article, they also noted that physical distancing would be ending for cast member as well.
This news follows Walt Disney World‘s lead, as they announced this policy change last week. In the article from ABC7, they note that cast member who are currently unvaccinated will still be required to wear a facial covering in outdoor setting. All cast members, regardless of vaccination status, will still be required to wear masks indoors. Disney has not indicated when they will lift the policy for cast members indoors.
This also comes after Disneyland Resort lifted facial covering restrictions for vaccinated guests only 10 days ago. As of June 15, vaccinated guests may visit Disneyland without wearing a facial covering indoors or outdoors. Disney asks that unvaccinated guests continue to wear a mask.
