Reimagined Snow White’s Enchanted Wish Returns to Disneyland with Classic Tale and New Magic!

When guests return to Disneyland on April 30th for the reopening of the parks at the Disneyland Resort, they will get to experience the recently re-imagined Snow White’s Enchanted Wish attraction in Fantasyland. The opening day Disneyland attraction now has added elements as it tells the story of Disney’s first princess, the Seven Dwarfs, Evil Queen, Prince, and of course all of the cute animals that come together for this classic “happily ever after.”

“The Snow White attraction has such a rich history,” said Kim Irvine, Disneyland Resort creative executive, Walt Disney Imagineering. “We wanted to take into account the beautiful scenic work that has always existed and retell the story in a special way. We believe guests will enjoy this sweet storyline in a stunning experience.”

There have been a lot of new enhancements added to the attraction. This includes 50 new animal and figure sculptures. There are also some new scenes and even new smells! However, with all the new elements, many of the classic favorite moments are still there.

“You’re still going to feel a lot of suspense,” said Dave Caranci, manager of creative development, Walt Disney Imagineering. “The Evil Queen is still there outside the attraction opening the curtains. But there’s a warmer, inviting feel that’s drawing you inside and now it’s Snow White’s journey.”

Snow White’s Enchanted Wish now includes many more elements and special effects to tell the complete story of Snow White and truly live up to the attraction’s new name. This still is the only attraction at Disneyland that is dedicated to a Disney princess.

Check out these photos and this video of Snow White’s Enchanted Wish if you’d like to see some of the new magical elements added to the attraction. Be warned though, there are spoilers for those who would rather wait to experience the attraction in person!
