In a little over three weeks, you can experience the joy of Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! This festival will last until February 22, 2021, and will be the perfect start to your new year, no matter what your resolutions are!
This festival has always been a place for arts of all types to meet! Whether you’re a fan of the culinary or visual arts, there is something here for you. You can snack on some beautiful art-inspired treats or even participate in a paint-by-numbers that’s larger than you could possibly imagine! There are even some exciting additions for this year that guests of the Walt Disney World Resort are sure to love.
This year, you can catch the Voices of Liberty singing at the America Gardens Theater, which would normally be home to Candlelight Processional during the holiday season. You can catch the group singing all-new songs from the Disney songbook. Disney Parks Blog notes that you could hear favorites like “When You Wish Upon a Star” and “Let It Go.” This group never disappoints, so you certainly don’t want to miss this!
At World Showplace, between the Canada and UK pavilions, you can find stunning visual artists! Here, you can find acts of incredible strength that will leave you wondering how they did it or an incredible speed paint of some of your favorite Disney characters!
Food Studios will be all around EPCOT and these will be the places for you to indulge in beautiful works of culinary art! New to the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, there will be a location between the France and Morrocco pavilions! This booth will feature delicious treats like chilled seafood cocktail with octopus, scallops, shrimp, black garlic aïoli, tomato coconut sauce, and serrano lime oil or Blue Corn Pupusa stuffed with cheese and topped with shredded pork, guajillo and árbol chile sauce, cabbage slaw, and aji amarillo crema.
There is nothing better during a trip to EPCOT than a nice walk around the World Showcase! If you take part in The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, you can enjoy five colorful treats that are being offered around the festival. your reward for completing this colorful tasting passport will be a complimentary, tasty technicolor treat.
If you’re too stuffed to eat another bite, you can participate in Figment’s Brush with the Masters. This family-friendly scavenger hunt invites everyone in your party to help our lovable pal Figment learn more about fine art. These scavenger hunts are always a lot of fun, so be sure to purchase your map at one of the many merchandise locations around the park!
You can also bring home some of the beautiful art around the park! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for featured artists and all the incredible work that they will bring along with them. You never know when you’ll find the perfect piece of art for your home or office!
