Disneyland Paris has shared an update for its upcoming Cars Route 66 Road Trip attraction. This new attraction will be opening at the Walt Disney Studios park in 2021. It celebrates the continued collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering with Pixar to bring magical experiences into the parks for guests to enjoy.
The most recent update shows what the loading area for Cars Route 66 Road Trip will be.
Disneyland Paris also showed the progress currently being made for this loading area.
This new boarding station is inspired by mid-century modern architecture. It should come as no surprise that it also has some clever nods to the world of Cars as well. The entrance to Route 66, this station will include a tourist stand with road maps, postcards, and other decorations (as seen below). This station is the first building that is being built and is outside the current perimeter of Walt Disney Studios Park. When it is finished, it will be accessible via a new entrance from Toy Story Playland.
DAPS MAGIC will continue to follow this story and provide updates as they become available. What do you think of the progress being made on Cars Route 66 Road Trip? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
