What do you do when you can’t open your theme park during the Halloween season and you are known for your spectacular events? You create a food festival dedicated to Halloween of course! That’s precisely what Knott’s Berry Farm has done this year for Halloween as it awaits the go-ahead to officially reopen from the state of California.
Knott’s Berry Farm’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween is more than just a food festival, however. As guests wander around the park and taste some absolutely delicious food (you can see the DAPS MAGIC team do this in the video below), they also get to see Knott’s Berry Farm decked out for Halloween better than ever! It has a hint of the scariness it is known for during this time of year, but that’s about as far as it goes. Instead, it’s become a big family-friendly Halloween party with entertainment to be enjoyed (including Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies, rooftop entertainers, and a few surprises), plenty of photo ops, and a trick-or-treat trail for the young ones that the adults will enjoy walking through too!. Some favorite Peanuts friends can also be found along the trail. Also, keep your eyes open for Kevin (I’ll just leave it at that)!
During the day it feels like a fall Halloween festival, at night it gets a little bit spooky (but not too spooky for the little ones) as some favorite ghosts come out. I would suggest getting there early afternoon and take your time working through your tasting card. It’s a lot of food. Then take some breaks and enjoy checking out the different things that are going on around the park.
Overall, this is the perfect family-friendly Halloween party that has something for everyone! For me, it was one of my favorite Knott’s Berry Farm events I have ever experienced (sorry all of you who love Knott’s Scary Farm). This is an event that I would love to see back and am not surprised to see selling out quickly! There are only a few dates left so if you are interested in experiencing this, get your ticket today at knotts.com! You won’t regret it and you won’t want to miss it!
