Earth to Ned

“Earth to Ned” Coming From Jim Henson Company to Disney+ on September 4

In just a few weeks, Disney+ subscribers are going to get an out-of-this-world experience! On September 4, alien commander Ned and his lieutenant Cornelius will make their debut on Disney+ as they interview some of the biggest stars in Earth’s pop culture in “Earth to Ned”.

This take on our typical Earth talk show will give our extraterrestrial friends a chance to learn everything they can. Ned and Cornelius had originally planned to invade Earth but once they learned more about human culture, they fell in love with humans and never wanted to leave! The show takes place deep underground in the bridge of their alien ship! Our duo is tasked with keeping their show a secret from their home planet or suffer the wrath of his father, the Admiral of the Galactic Fleet.

On the ship, Ned gets some help from the ship’s artificial intelligence, BETI, and the destructive CLODs (Cloned Living Organisms of Destruction) while they interview some of Earth’s brightest stars. Here are the stars you’ll get a chance to see in the first 10 episodes: Joshua Bassett (“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”), Rachel Bilson (“The O.C.”), Michael Ian Black (“Wet Hot American Summer”), Rachel Bloom (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”), Gina Carano (“The Mandalorian”), RuPaul (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”), Taye Diggs (“Rent”), Lil Rel Howery (“Get Out”), Bindi and Robert Irwin (Crikey! It’s the Irwins”), Gillian Jacobs (“Love”), NeNe Leakes (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”), Thomas Lennon (“Reno 911!”), Joel McHale (“Community”), Andy Richter (“Conan”), Olivia Rodrigo (“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”), Eli Roth (“Hostel”), Kristen Schaal (“Gravity Falls”), Paul Scheer (“The League”), Jenny Slate (“Zootopia”), Raven Symoné (“Raven’s Home”), Reggie Watts (“The Late Late Show with James Corden”), and Billy Dee Williams (“Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back”).

Ned, Cornelius, their Artificial Intelligence BETI, and the army of CLODs are brought to life by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop!
