Recently Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge has been removed from the D23 Expo Disney Parks Blog post that originally shared the announcement of this hotel that was to be built at Walt Disney World Resort. The new lodge was announced at the 2019 D23 Expo. However, as the economic impact of COVID-19 continues to be felt throughout The Walt Disney Company, it was observed that work had been stopped on Reflections.
The future of Reflections is completely unknown at this time. What is known is that it no longer appears on the Disney Parks Blog post that originally announced Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge. However, the Mary Poppins addition to World Showcase in the UK. Pavilion is still included. This project is currently on hold. Scott Gustin broke this story.
