“Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Becomes Most-Streamed Digital Original Show

It is no secret that the world loves Star Wars! Just in the past year, fans have been delighted by the release of season one of The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Today, we learned that fans broke records as Star Wars: The Clone Wars officially became the most-streamed original digital show!

According to an analytics company, the title used to belong to Netflix’s Stranger Things which originally debuted in 2016. Netflix has been the giant in original digital content for its streaming service but when Disney+ released to the public in November, things changed in a major way. While the final season of The Clone Wars pushed the series to the number one spot, we also saw another Star Wars show at the top of the list!

Unsurprisingly The Mandalorian has taken the second spot on the list of most-streamed original digital content. This moved Stranger Things down to third place, with their demand expressions down 1.5%. It will be interesting to watch as the Disney+ streaming service continues to announce new content! After Disney announced that the service is performing much higher than expected, it only opens to door to more entertainment on the service. We can’t wait to see what is to come and what will happen!
