Pixarmonic Orchestra Concludes Pixar Pier Run With Energetic Ending

The Pixarmonic Orchestra performed for the final time on the Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure on Saturday night. In front of an energetic crowd, the band ended its run on a high note. Both the crowd and band fed off the energy of each other for an incredible final performance. As the show ended, current and former cast and crew joined each other on the stage for one final bow and photo. The final performance was one of the most fun ones as the audience cheered and sang along throughout the show.

The Pixarmonic Orchestra was introduced to the Disneyland during 2018’s Pixar Fest. Originally, the band debuted at Paradise Garden Bandstand before moving to Pixar Pier for the rest of its run. The show includes music from multiple Pixar films that includes You’ve Got a Friend in Me, The Incredibles Theme, Remember Me, and more!

The ending of the run of the Pixarmonic Orchestra isn’t the only show to end its run on September 14, 2019. The Laughing Stock Co. also concluded its run in the Golden Horseshoe Saloon on the same day. Both were local fan favorites and had fans, current, and former cast members in attendance for the final performance.

The Pixarmonic Orchestra will definitely be missed by Disneyland Resort guests. It offered a charming, magical, humorous, and quirky entertainment experience. It was full of personality and really highlighted the special magic that Disney can bring to an ensemble. At this time it isn’t known what will take the place of the space that the Pixarmonic Orchestra inhabited, if anything. What was your favorite part of the Pixarmonic Orchestra’s performance?
