Happy Haunts Arrive in New Orleans Square

Happy Haunts Arrive in New Orleans Square at Disneyland to Meet With Mortals! [Updated]

On Sunday night guests at Disneyland were delighted to discover that several happy haunted had left the Haunted Mansion and made their way over into New Orleans Square where Jack Skellington and Sally had been meeting guests earlier in the day.

The DAPS MAGIC team found Constance Hatchaway and the Hitchhiking Ghosts, Gus, Ezra, and Phineas meeting guests on Sunday night. Both were incredible experiences. Constance Hatchaway was dressed in her wedding gown and had a flower bouquet built around her hatchet. She was serious and clearly looking for a future former husband. The three Hitchhiking Ghosts were humorous and whimsical with their interactions with the mortal travelers who stopped by to visit. On Monday night, the Tightrope Walker Sally Slater was also found meeting with guests in New Orleans Square.

Hosts in the area would not confirm who for sure guests would be meeting at the location in the evening. They simply said they would meet a spirit but couldn’t guarantee who. All in all, it was a fantastic experience! On twitter, @DisneylandToday only confirmed that “You never know who or…. what might materialize this #HalloweenTime…”

The arrival of these ghosts is just some of the fun offerings at the Disneyland Resort this year for Halloween Time. The Disneyland Resort is also presenting Halloween Screams nightly, with the weekends including fireworks for the show. Their arrival comes on the same weekend that Haunted Mansion Holiday opened for this year’s holiday seasons as well. This year’s gingerbread house honors the Haunted Mansion!

  1. Do they have set times? Would love to see them!

    1. They are switching in and out through most of the evening. Basically there is always some ghost(s) there!
