The end of the year can be the most hectic time at the Disneyland Resort. Between the post-Christmas flood and New Year’s Eve, the parks can be jam-packed with guests looking to get in their last few moments! We spent the day before New Year’s Eve in the Disneyland Resort, expecting the worst but hoping for the best! We were surprised when we were met with a surprisingly calm day!
When we got to Disneyland, we quickly head for coffee and a way off of Main Street, U.SA. The streets were lined with families that had come down for the Rose Bowl Parade and wanted to see their family members march with their band down the parade route! When we left the hub area, we were surprised to find that there weren’t many crowds around. That continued to be a common theme in our day! We were surprised to find that everywhere we went, crowds were nowhere near as bad as they had been the last few days.
It seems that, though the top tier passes can be expensive, days like Sunday would be nearly impossible without them. Is the crowd problem of the end of the year completely solved? Of course not but the day before New Year’s Eve has certainly been a busy day in Disneyland years past.
