We Invite You to Take the “Bugs Land Challenge” Before the Land Flies Away on September 4

When it was announced that A Bugs Land was closing at Disney California Adventure Park on September 4, we knew we would have to make it in to say goodbye! This weekend, we figured out the perfect way to bid the land adieu and we want to see you join in!

Our challenge to ourselves was fairly simple: simply get all the attractions in Bugs Land in one day! As we were planning, we made a few more rules:

  • Set a goal to beat. Our goal was all four attractions in 45 minutes
  • Ride on Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train, Flik’s Flyers, Tuck & Roll’s Drive ‘Em Buggies, and Francis’ Ladybug Boogie before your time is up
  • Time starts when getting in line for the first attraction and stops when you get off the last. Walking counts towards your time!

Really, that was it. You can hit the attractions in any order that you like, but once you start that stopwatch, it runs until you’ve completed the challenge! It was a fun way to cram in those last few adventures into the vibrant Bugs Land, and honestly a great way to beat the heat.

For an added fun to this challenge, we want you to join in! Follow the rules posted above and join in on the fun using #BugsLandChallenge! Join in on any social media of your choosing and tag us to let us know that you did it! Mike on Twitter has already beat our time of 44:10 by 5 minutes with his time of 39:19!

How fast can you complete the #BugsLandChallenge? Check out our own attempt below and try your own! We can’t wait to see your results.
