Ordering food at the Disneyland Resort is about to get even easier! A brand new mobile ordering service will be coming soon to some of your favorite food locations.
Guests will be able to find participating locations, pick out the menu items of their choosing, and set an arrival time all from their own mobile device. When the guest arrives at the designated pick up area, all they have to do is notify the dining location through the app, and a fresh meal will be ready in just a few minutes. For Annual Passholders, there will be an option to apply the discount from the pass to the mobile order so passholders don’t have to miss out!
This mimics the system in place over at Walt Disney World in Florida. The mobile ordering service at Walt Disney World has been allowing guests to place an order while still making magical memories across the park for almost a year. They currently offer the service in 23 locations across all four parks and Disney Springs and have been constantly updating and improving the service. This feature is something many guests had been hoping would come to Disneyland, as it made vacations so much easier and allowed a greater amount of time to enjoy what the parks had to offer.
This is the next step in the continuous plan to update the resort and focus on the guest experience. Since the addition of MaxPass to the parks last summer, guests have been able to increase the time spent with loved ones instead of racing around the park to wait in lines. Now, there will be one less line to wait in!
Disneyland has yet to announce when this new service is rolling out, but check back as we gain more information, including which dining locations will be participating!
