The popular Disney Paint the Night Parade has returned to the Disneyland Resort. This modern incarnation of the Main Street Electrical Parade has returned for Pixar Fest this summer that will be running at the Disneyland Resort through September 3, 2018. Part of Pixar Fest includes bringing Disney Paint the Night Parade to Disney California Adventure.
The Paint the Night Parade was premiered at Disney California Adventure to guests on the evening of April 12 ahead of its official launch on April 13. Thousands of fans were delighted as the music and lights filled the night with Disney magic. Much of the parade remains the same as was remembered when it said goodbye to Disneyland. However, there are a few changes. First off, there is no longer a Frozen float. Currently, this spot remains open but an Incredibles 2 float will be arriving later this spring for the arrival of Incredibles 2 in theaters this June. The Little Mermaid float has also been modified and is no longer as tall. The change brings more focus to both Ariel and King Triton and is a nice change. Take a look at the video below to see some of the changes and let us know what you think of Paint the Night in Disney California Adventure!
Pixar Fest continues at the Disneyland Resort until September 3, 2018. It includes new fireworks, entertainment, food, and merchandise! Check out DAPS MAGIC’s guide for Pixar Fest here. What is your favorite Pixar Fest offering?
