Disney’s Hollywood Studios Name to Remain the Same

Disney Parks Blog commented on questions of a park name change in a post about an upcoming Toy Story Land attraction.  Speculation has been going around that a name change for Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World would be coming soon.  Bob Iger first said that the park would change its name in 2015.  Surveys asked what possible names people liked for the park.  They included Disney’s Cinemagine Park, Disney Legends Park, Disney Cinemagic Land, and Disney Hyperia Park.

But, the Parks Blog has now said that the name will remain the same for “the foreseeable future.”  The exact words are:

“In response to questions we have been receiving, we also want to let fans know that the Disney’s Hollywood Studios name will remain the same for the foreseeable future since we are immersing our guests in a place where imagined worlds of Hollywood unfold around them from movies and music, to television and theater.”
