Disney-Pixar’s Coco Sets Box Office Record

Disney-Pixar COCO

Disney-Pixar’s Coco opens in the United States on November 22nd but it is already setting records. The most recent movie to be released by Pixar Animation Studios has already pulled in $43 million after being in theaters in Mexico for less than a month.

Coco isn’t just chugging along and making money though. On Wednesday it surpassed Marvel’s The Avengers to become the number one grossing film in Mexico in history!

The film has been received well where it has been released around the globe. It is expected to do well here in the United States as well when it opens on November 22nd. Currently it has a rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. Finding Dory cleared a rating of 90% when it was released and went on to make over $1 Billion at the box office worldwide. If the excitement for this movie is any indication, Coco will be even more successful!

Are you excited for Coco? When are you going to see it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
