Charlie Ridgway – Disney Legend – Passed Away At 93

Charlie Ridgway was a Disneyland and Walt Disney World publicist in their early times.  He helped cover the opening of Disneyland, and eventually the opening of Magic Kingdom and Epcot at Walt Disney World.  Many of his ideas for publicity were amazingly creative, like having baby ducklings see Donald Duck upon hatching and follow him around the parks for the character’s 50th birthday.

Ridgway passed away at his home on December 24, 2016 at age 93.
