Stitch’s Great Escape to No Longer Operate Daily at the Walt Disney World Resort

Stitch's Great Escape Going SeasonalStitch’s Great Escape will no longer be operating on a daily basis starting this fall. The attraction, found in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom, will be only open on days that attendance dictates following its closure on October 1st.

In this attraction, guests find themselves as new security recruits for the Galactic Federation aboard a prisoner teleportation chamber. During the training process, Experiment 626 escapes and pandemonium ensues. This all takes place before the events that happen in Disney’s animated feature Lilo & Stitch.

Stitch’s Great Escape opened at the Walt Disney World Resort in 2004. It replaced ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter which had opened in 1995, replacing Mission to Mars.

What do you think of Stitch’s Great Escape going seasonal?
