If you’re a fan of Disneyland Resort’s Napa Rose, here is some pretty awesome news. Announced this week, Executive Chef of Disneyland Signature Restaurants, Andrew Sutton, was deemed Chef of the Year at the Golden Foodie Awards.
According to Disney Parks Blog, the ceremony was held by the Orange County, California, Restaurant Association. On top of that, Food Network star, Simon Majumdar, hosted the function.
The ceremony honored and celebrated “chefs, bartenders and dishes in chef-driven and independent restaurants” in the local area.
Other categories and awards of the night that were handed out to those in the industry included Best Indian Cuisine, Best Pizza, Best Wine and more.
Sutton said in a statement, “I am so honored to receive this award from my fellow culinarians and give a big thank you to my supporting cast, and to Disney for their commitment to the highest culinary standards.”
